Of course there's people out there that say Skar sucks, and that pros hate Skar. I feel that this kit isn't made for pros at all, but instead the teenage guys who just want that bump in the trunk at a low cost without getting cheap junk that blows within a day. With the right tuning and enough break-in, this thing kicks serious ass. I originally bought this to make my car a little more fun to drive and one-up my friend that has a 1000W 12" JBL. Both goals were met with this thing. The amp kit was perfect length for positive, ground, and the remote wire. Absolutely no complaints with the install process - as long as you're comfortable with plastic car panels and maybe a screwdriver. I am by no means a professional or even an enthusiast, yet I was able to fully install this within a few hours. I sealed the firewall with some black high-heat silicone around the power wire, and haven't had a leak since the install. The amp does a great job, and only gets a little warm if I really crank the sub hard for 20+ minute drives. I've been monitoring the temp of the cone, and it does great with the levels that I'm at (I don't know the exact wattage at peak just yet, but I'm close to maxing out the gain on the amp and I usually cruise at around 37 volume on my Pioneer HU) with no issues. The box is really nice and it's heavy enough that it won't slide around in my carpeted trunk. I have a 2006 Hyundai Sonata for anyone wondering about fitment, and there is still plenty of room for the occasional grocery store run. I can't wait to get another amp and upgrade my 6.5s in the doors. Thanks a million Skar, I'll be back for more soon!
Sounds ok under half turn but it also came with a blown fuse and without the sticker it’s supposed to which was cheap
