|Total Gross Air Space (Volume)||1.10 ft3|

The precise engineering that went into designing the armored series give the enclosure a truly "custom feel" that is evident with how loud and low this enclosure can get. The AR1X8V features a 1" wide, kerf style port, which means that the port construction utilizes the curves typically found only in high-end, professional enclosures, allowing the box to offer deeper and more accurate bass. Furthermore, it’s precisely tuned to 41 Hz to ensure that it delivers riveting low-end frequency response and thunderous bass.
The overall design of this armor coated 8-inch vented enclosure inspires great functionality that will keep your box performing at an optimal level for hours on end. On top of its durable exterior, this box is also braced for extreme strength, and can handle even the most brutally powerful subwoofers without flexing. Internally, we line several walls of the enclosure with poly-fill to enhance the overall versatility and depth of sound that this enclosure reproduces with any given subwoofer. The premium push terminal wiring cup, that is built into the side of the enclosure, features 16-gauge speaker wire that is pre-soldered and connected to the terminals, making it easier than ever to wire up and install your subwoofer.

I did a review when I received the stuff and here's one after loading sub. Most is for noobs like me.
First I wanted to seal the interior of the box. The box is super important to your sound. I bought some Rustoleum Undercoating Pro Grade.. $8 at Lowes. Its like rubber. Besides the interior walls and corners, the terminal housing in the box is often a place without perfect seals.
Im a noob but I saw videos of pros and they dont even like using this kind of terminal housing, they drill a couple holes for the wires and use caulk type stuff for perfect seal.
Anyway, then I made sure to test the coils...2 OHMS each, then wired it for 4 OHMS .Now Ive drilled tons of stuff but I got nervous before this one. Drills can slip and poof , right in the cone.
So you may want to use an Awl or Punch to tap a little hole in the place youre going to pre-drill with a hammer. Pros and experienced guys would probably laugh but idc I was nervous and I wanted perfection without a hitch. It helps starting the bit off. I bought Power Pro gold coated screws that say pre-drillings not necessary but I did it anyway.
I did have one issue with one hole.
Make sure your drill bit isn't too big or dont pre drill all the way through cos when I did that it made the screw hole feel stripped. I had to put some material down in the hole and coat the screw with Super Glue. Worked like a charm.Thats it, oh I tesated after and its at 4 OHMS thank God. Cant wait to hear it.,
Man Im a fool cos I thought it was going to be a good bit bigger from the pics and I am thrilled that its not.
The armor coating is bad to the bone. No finish issues whatsoever.
Funny thing is, I had read a review where some dude loved it but was bothered by his anal nature noticing the interior being bare wood so he said he was going to flex seal the inside.
I just bought a can and the thick white lining is adhered to the inner box really well...grrr
Good little box to get started. I purchased this box for a zvx8. The subwoofer did not fit right in. But a couple minutes of sanding it with sandpaper made it fit in. It sounds good with a 8 inch zvx
Seen a review on poor finish, mine had a blemish, but looks great, purchased for an Sdr-8 2ohm, just purchased the 350.1 after watching a video Skar Audio updated. Hoping for a little bump in a tiny Honda Fit! 4 doors setup with with Skar Tx65, currently no amp for them, but way better than stock.
