WOW! Nice highs and great mid range They sound incredible and finally my sub can live in the sub range where it belongs!
I had to cut a little of the old baffle in my 03 Tacoma (both sides)) but after that it was easy sound is way better than the 15yr old factory stuff I got 50watts rms on a pretty old mtx 4202 at full pass and they have been in 4 days and seems to be getting more bass. plan on adding the skar shallow 10 sub and replace the 15 yr old jl audio powered by a jbl gtx 500 @4ohm
Replaced all 4 stock 6x8's in my Freestar with Skar RPX68's and they sound amazing. They're running at 80 watts RMS at 60hz and up with an 8" and two 6.5" subs at 150hz and lower. The midbass frequency overlap of 60-150hz is insane! These have super clear, crisp, clean highs. No too bright or tinny. The midbass is tight, quick, and doesn't clip. I've even run them at full range and they drop really low for coaxial speakers. These would probably sound dope in there own box. I'm definitely a big fan of Skar Audio from this latest install and will definitely buy more of their equipment in the future.
