Pretty clean sounding and definitely gets loud
I thought mine was defect when I got it but turned out to be my cross overs causing issues.
So upon further testing I've been overwhelmingly impressed.
Honestly it and the ctsound 150.4d are neck and neck man, but I like the traditional board of the skv2 and the increased cooling capacity.
The heat sink and larger foot print alone is a winning sales point for me.
Maybe I'm jist old school.
The external fussing of this amp tells me you're not gonna get over 800 watts from it so I wouldn't try to throw any 1 ohm bridged loads at it.
I'm also a bit disappointed it doesn't rate at 1ohm... I mean for the cost. Size and capability I can't see why it wouldn't.
Would allow me to stack up more speakers man.
Beside those 2 little draw backs it's my 4ch of choice.
I'm torn between useing this and another skv2 200.4 and a CT sound 150.4 for my 3 way active.
Or useing 3 identical skar skv2-200.4s.
I may just use the CT and skar and then fir my low door channel use a skar 500.1 or 1500.1 for the doors evl65s
I dont know.
All I know is I'm impressed and satisfied
Also a sleek look.
Delivers continuous power ease, I’m pushing 4 PVR’s @ 250rms this amp has more power to give!
