Its really nice wish it wasn't so hard to tune in might try a different 10 inch sub or something maybe my receiver is just bad idk gonna take it to a shop see what they say I want 2 of them in my jeep but ain't no room would be nice if they would make a shallow mount box for one and 2 of these I think it's funny they make a shallow mount sub but not a shallow mount box for iti only got this one cuz there isn't a lot of room but now that I know the box fits wish I would have gotten a stronger sub and amp setup
Had a bit of confusion at first with the wiring I should have gotten the 4 ohm with my 800.1 amp but at 2 ohm it still shakes my cab .. I think imma skar man 4 life !! Y’all want to sponsor a dude ? Hehe anyhoo they came in like a day very fast then j noticed that your based out of Tampa Florida … still awesome 👍👍up thanks skar… oh and excuse the vids and pics I just installed haven’t tightened (or tuned) it up yet lol
The VD10 is a solid speaker and it hits great ! I also have a cheap 8" Skar woofer in my truck and it's half the power and it still hits . I dig the Skar Audio speakers .
Sounds better than the old 15" sub I had in the car & takes up A LOT less space in the trunk of my scion tc.
This is the second pair I've purchased, and am very pleased. I put these in my 2014 Ram 2500 Laramie with factory Alpine system. I used a prefab box for the subs running a RP-1200.1. The VD-10's hit, and sound great. I installed a LLJ Customs interface with LC7I in about 3 seconds to provide signal, and I highly recommend it. With the interface I still have all the original factory speakers working which allows me to be able to upgrade in stages. The dash and door speakers are already replaced with the TX series, and even on the factory amp makes a huge difference. Next will be the RP-75.4.
