This guide helps you properly install and wire your new Skar Audio RP Series Amplifier.
Important Warning: Skar Audio assumes no responsibility for any damages to subwoofers and/or amplifiers that could occur due to improper wiring. Wiring below 1 ohm will automatically void your warranty.
General Installation Steps
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal before beginning installation
- Mount the amplifier in a well-ventilated location
- Run power wire from battery to amplifier location
- Install inline fuse within 18 inches of the battery
- Run ground wire to a clean, bare metal surface
- Connect RCA cables from head unit to amplifier
- Connect remote turn-on wire from head unit
- Connect speaker wires to subwoofers
- Reconnect battery and test system
