Skar Audio offers a 2-year limited warranty on all new products purchased from authorized dealers, covering amplifiers, subwoofers, and speakers.
Amplifier Warranty Details
What's Covered
The warranty includes defective units determined by Skar Audio technicians.
What's NOT Covered
- Accidental damage
- Misuse
- Running at improper impedance levels
- Product neglect
- Improper installation
- Third-party repairs
Note: Warranties are NOT transferable should you decide to sell your amplifier to a third party.
Warranty Process
- Contact via email to start claims
- Customer pays for prepaid shipping to headquarters
- Must receive return authorization number before sending
- Typical turnaround is one week from receipt
- Skar Audio covers return shipping for defective units
Replacement Policy
Beyond 30 days, defective amplifiers may be replaced with certified refurbished units rather than new ones.
Speakers and Subwoofers Warranty
Similar 2-year coverage applies, excluding:
- Improper installation
- Misuse and abuse
- Excessive power beyond RMS ratings
- Improper wiring
- Third-party modifications
Important: Misuse of a subwoofer or speaker that leads to a burnt voice coil or other damage from too much power is not covered.
International Restrictions
International orders through eBay or Amazon are ineligible for warranty coverage. Warranty applies exclusively to U.S. purchases and addresses.
