What is Skar Audio's Warranty Policy?

Eligible new products purchased directly from Skar Audio or an authorized retailer have a 2-year limited warranty from the original purchase date. Products with SKUs beginning USED- or RFBISH- have a 1-year limited warranty. Coverage is subject to the Limited Warranty Policy, including purchase-source, U.S. address, and product-specific requirements. Warranties are not transferable after resale.

What Is Covered?

The limited warranty covers qualifying manufacturing defects. Skar Audio tests returned products and determines coverage under the full warranty terms.

What Is Not Covered?

• Damage from mishandling, misuse, negligence, or abuse.
• Incorrect installation, improper wiring or impedance, and operation beyond recommended specifications.
• Damage caused by overpowering, clipping, distortion, or improper tuning.
• Products that have been tampered with, modified, or repaired.
• Theft or purchases from unauthorized dealers.

Start an Approved Warranty Claim

1. Visit the Returns Center with your order number and shipping ZIP code.
2. Complete the warranty submission and obtain an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) before shipping.
3. Follow the instructions for your approved claim, including packaging and any required return documents. Items sent without authorization are returned without assessment.

Who Pays for Warranty Shipping?

For eligible warranty claims within 30 days of the order date, Skar Audio provides a prepaid return label. After that window, you arrange and pay for inbound shipping unless customer support explicitly approves a prepaid label. This shipping window starts at purchase, not delivery.

Skar Audio covers outbound shipping for an approved warranty replacement. Out-of-coverage claims have separate return-shipping terms. Follow the full warranty policy and your approved claim instructions.

Testing and Replacement

Warranty service is separate from a refund return or upgrade. Skar Audio may replace an eligible product with a used or certified-refurbished unit of comparable quality; for a discontinued product, the most similar model available may be substituted. International Restrictions

International eBay and Amazon purchases are not eligible for Skar Audio warranty coverage, including purchases using freight forwarders or reshippers. Review the International Customer Notice for full purchase and address requirements.
