Sounds great. Have it cut at 200hz to full. Using as a center in stock local with lil trim job on OEM bracket. It supplements my FSX65's in doors. Neo magnet was a must. Gets loud and clear. Very happy.
I built custom MDF mounting brackets for these, as my stock size was 6x9. I have them paralleled to vx 200 st tweeters, with a ska7eq to balance them out. The amp I have is an rp 150.4. These things scream; they put rock concerts to shame. Definitely run them with tweeters, they have almost no highs. Be extra careful when drilling holes in metal near these, because metal shavings will fall in between the coil and the magnet, effectively ruining the speaker (same on all other speakers with this design). I did this to two of mine, so I replaced them all with FSX. If you have limited mounting depth buy these, otherwise id say buy fsx, or for higher end pax. I would have bought PAX but they were out of stock.
Used in a line array speaker to replace Eminence drivers with great results. Only a few dB down from original with no distortion. Plan to build more with these drivers. The 4 ohm option made crossover design very easy.
