First off i had have a simple setup. No big 3 upgrade vfl stealth 3000 amp maybe producing around 1200 watts rms pushing a 10 xfl the version that takes 1500 watts rms. As for the front and back seat area speakers i m running them from the head unit. No amp. I have skar vx 200 st super tweeters fsx65 pro audio 6. 5 mids. In the back seat area i have skar tx4 elite coaxial speakers and some kenwood 6. 5 mids will be replacing with skar mids. Got this sub at the beginning of november to replace my american bass xfl 10. I wanted to put it in a custom box i would build myself. Had buck s custom s get the plans together for this specific sub measurements of the cargo area of my vehicle what music i ll be listening too if i m looking for more spl or sq. Got the plans built it and was super clean but had a very difficult port to build. At first i was slightly disappointed it was only marginally performing better than my previous xfl 10. Knew it needed some breaking in so after a few months it was really sounding great. Super low lows that quaked the entire car. High sound quality not all that air movement noise. But at that point i could tell it was thirsty for more wattage. Not in a position for a new amp i did the big 3 upgrade. What a game changer. Now i m getting some pressurization in the chest and body. When talking it will sounds like i m talking through a fan. I assume the big 3 increase to flow of wattage around the 1 400 1 500 rms area. I know i could squeeze more out of it with a stronger amp but i m good right now. So yeah an amazing high quality subwoofer at a reasonable price. Customer for life.

Bought the 2ohm 15s inverted them in a bap port box

I received my 2 vxf 15s 18 days ago and sadly i still have not been able to hear them due to my current build i was running 2 ds18 12s and they only made it about 2 weeks and they blew i was running clean power with 1 0 wiring threw the entire system with a brand new o rion xtr 2500. 1 dz amplifier a separate 350 amp alternator with 2 deka semi batteries fuck ds18 now i have a brand new deaf bonce apocalypse aak 4000. 1 amp and my vxf 15 beauties with another 2 deka deep cycle batteries all new 2 0 100 pure copper welding wire. I m waiting for my new box to get finished up from the builder. I have to wait for my speaker wire for inside new box and my dual imput adapters for my amplifier. So i m finally getting close. I will attempt to update this review once everything is done and running. Anyways skar audio has been excellent to order from and work with thru out my buying experience. Do not hesitate to order from them. The customer service department was top notch to deal with as well. I wouldn t hesitate to order from skar audio based on my entire experience with them. Ive got a vxf15 on a kicker 2500. 1 in a skar box inside an f250 extended cab and this thing makes nasty low balls bass for a single15. I ve had e few other sub set ups 2 l712s 2 comp15s sundown10 in this truck but this is louder and better sounding then all of the rest. The box will just fit between the front and rear seats. I don t need 2 of them but i want another one worth the money.

Amazing subwoofer

This sub hits incredibly hard. . Plays very low. Very clean sounding deff better sounding than the zvx 15 i had. . Anyway got this sub in a 3. 98 cube box 30hz. And it gets ridiculous you can t beat this sub for what the price is. . Just buy it you ll thank all of us later. .

I picked up two of the skar vxf 15 d2 on a taramp 3k and two xs power d4300 s they hit so hard only in a pre fab box right now but still sounds amazing

This sub can easily take more then 1500 rms and play great sub for the price definitely will buy more

I recently had 2 10 rockford fosgate gain 75 and i wanted more of course so i got this 15 and holy shit this blew me away. I m still in the break in period gain 25. Probably going to put in a second battery. Can t wait to crank it up

Running on a crossfire 8k 2. 6 ohm. Probably only seeing 3krms but good lord do these things do work.

I ordered this sub and a rp2000. 1d and installed it in my 2017 honda civic si sedan. I originally had an sdr 15 d2 and i replaced it withe this new sub and amp and put it in the same box as the sdr 15 was in. I have yet to re tune the port and add some more internal bracing but let me tell you my eardrums basically rattle on all the notes such a great sub with food power handling capabilities and a relatively low moving mass mms rating. I am slowly breaking it in with variable power levels on different frequencies in warmer temperatures vancouver bc canada approximately 15 c 20 c. I really hope this thing lasts a long time. The dust cap got a little warm after 20 minutes of medium to heavy use but nothing concerning yet. Good job skar thank you for your great customer service

Love these subs i got them instead of the zvx s becuase they had the same power rating and a better frequency response started with 1 sk2 4500 and it was clipping with 2 15s so i ended up grabbing another one and i have plenty of power to spare next step is dual inputs and a high output alternator from singer currently being built wanted to go to four with two inverted but at you can see i really don t have the space super powerfully and clean bass hits a 146 all day with a barely 5 cubic feet box tuned at around 44 hz or so a little high for my taste but i had the box laying around thinking about shoving 12 evil 8s in there we shall see. These subs are absolute beast though at around 48lb a piece definitely recommend a friend for loading a pair of these bad boys into your vehicle with the enclosure. Great speaker sounds amazing and definitely tons of power i haven t gotten to get quite the box it calls for but using my box from my 15 i traded out to use the skar speaker and i can just imagine with proper enclosure this thing can really beat 100 satisfied and recommend great for the price and came amazingly fast undamaged packaged very well pic is the skar vxf 15 d4 next to my old edge hollywood digital 15 sub.
