They are better than expected my shit bumps loud asf got everything looking at me when im cruising i also bought the super bullet tweeters and they suck not loud and the sound the make is annoying i just replace them with another brand. . . But skar subs are great

Toro rx4 s on the 6 massive 6. 5 mids in the doors and a massive px1900. 4 on 6 skar tweeters set of 1 and 2 sets of 3. 5 in the doors and skar 3. 5 full range in the dash. . . 2 xs 950 batteries and a pyle 6 farad cap alpine head clarion eq ds 18 crossover. . . Its a bad bitch. . . . But i need a new skar 4500 to push these boys right. Bang on and buy skar

So. . . I had single 12 deaf bonce apocalypse and i still love it btw running on a synergy audio wfo 3. 1 d and swapped it out today for the 2 12 vxf d4 subs i got during the black friday sale. I built a custom 4 ft birch enclosure tuned to 32 hz. . . Holy s t these things sound amazing i m only breaking them in right now with the synergy amp and they blurred my vision. After they are ready. . . In goes my new brutal sounds bs5. 1. I can t wait these subs sound great throughout the entire frequency range. The lows. . . Cause my sun visors to literally flap like crazy. My wipers were vibrating off of my windshield a good 1 4 1 2. My poor little acura ilx is gonna fall apart. Lol. Skar. . . Keep up the good work. I do installs as a side gig and regularly recommend your equipment. I just built an enclosure for a single 18 evl paired with an rp 1500 and installed it in a dodge avenger and let me tell y all it is freaking brutal. I also purchased 2 8 svr subs for my wifes car. Will review those when done. Skar you are killing it right now. With the quality and price point combination no one can touch you guys. Y all got me as customer for life as long as you keep turning out this quality stuff. I am 41 years old and i ve had every brand imaginable from the age of 16 to now. Absolutely recommend. This is my introductory platform in to the scene and my goodness. I m still breaking it in at about 700 watt but even still in my box tuned at 34hz which skar gave me the plans for the thing makes my door panels shake. They aren t lying when they say it s a head turning sub. Might have to get another one and another rp. 2000. 1 to really have fun. Upgraded alternator is highly recommended as my current setup is dropping my voltage from 14. 8 to 13. 6 when i m really testing it out. Mind you this is only 700w approx. Being thrown at it. I can t wait to retune this thing after another week or so. Seriously worth investing in. And hats off to rob in customer service for guiding me through this process. If it weren t for you i d probably have had messed something up.

The vxf12 in a ported box ran by the rp2000. 1d 1ohm. This sub hits so hard it leaves a smile on my face every time i sit in my ride. I was 3 street down the road and my wife could hear me all the way to the house. Highly recommended

Even though i m still breaking in the sub the quality and sound is just amazing i m so happy of my perchance i would definitely recommend buying one or two if your looking for some serious bass. Box and sub weight together is 85 lbs

I ve got a blow through with 3 vxf 12 s in my dodge ram crew cab. Powering them off an rp4500. These subs pound. By far one of the highest performing sub i ve had. I just keep pushing them and they keep delivering

She s big and built tough sub is definitely comfortable with lows the high end bass is there but a lot quieter sounds a lot like an sundown x but when that low end drops pull up your panties. . . I m powering it with a 1. 2k 1 ohm rising to 2 getting around 850w to it in a 2. 25 cu ft box tuned to 31hz w 40 2 port area and it fills a full size suv with big bass could only imagine putting rated to it and then some. .

First the bad. After an inspection of the vxf 12 there were some cosmetic issues that i noticed. The dust cap wasn t put on straight and the tensile leads were not soldiered very well. Went to install the sub and the speaker wire caught the box breaking the terminal my fault. The speaker connections are almost exactly the same size as the mounting hole diameter. I had much better luck running the speaker wires from the inside of the terminal instead. All that being said this is an amazing sub. Does exactly what skar claims. The perfect balance between sq and spl. Bass is accurate and tight and a twist of the remote gain will have your guts shaking. I have a pair in a single cab f150 ported box 4. 36cuft tuned to 33hz. It is honestly difficult to drive when cranked up. If you don t mind a couple build quality issues this is definitely an amazing sub for the price. I would not hesitate to buy another.

I purchased 2 of these subwoofers in february 2021 installed in an sk2x12 v. Wired at 1 ohm they have been ran full send daily on an rp3500 with full electrical 350 amp brand x alternator with sky high 1 0 ofc big 3 and brand x 1 0 from battery to amp. Clamped at 3 901 watts. I am impressed with the build quality of the sub. Even in a box that is way too small for them they sound great and they really do pound harder than anything i ve heard so far. I ve impressed many people with them and they have brought me lots of joy any time i get in my car. I have no complaints about the subwoofer. They ve taken almost 1 000 watts more than they re rated for on a daily basis with almost no visible change in coil color. They hit both highs and lows with authority. Push terminals are large and very sturdy tinsel leads are integrated into the spider to defeat tinsel slap. This is an excellent subwoofer at a great price and i would recommend it to anyone looking for great intense bass.

Haven t hooked them up yet but my gosh they are beast s beasts very good built and heavy. Going to put them on a dfs jp23 at 1 ohm. After i break them in will update review. Currently have the sdr 12 s loaded enclosure on a 2 400 watt amplifier and after breaking them in man they are badass but want more. Upgraded to a 240 alternator and xs 3400 battery for the new set up. Advice go ahead start out big have several sets skar 8 s laying around all never had a problem with any subs. Haven t tried their amplifiers so can t say. I set my gain with a homemade distortion speaker works
