I built my system for sound quality and not boom well all of the reviews you ve read aren t lying. I ve been debating over this sub jl audio w7 and the kicker l7 q series subs. Now here in lies the problem i m cheap and want the best but don t want to pay extreme prices for ok performance. I have tuned 20 000. 00 systems and want that or better. So after putting together the best audiophile quality mids and tweeters. I used skar vd 8 s for the doors and evil 15 for the rear low end in my corvette. Orion amp for 8 s and mids. Rockville amp 1200 watts for the evl15. After installing large ribbon tweeters some mids and swans hivi f5 mids the skar subs didn t disappoint they are very musical and hit incredibly tight and clean with killer spl it doesn t matter if i m listening to classic rock heavy metal or lil jon. It sounds outstanding by the way i have about 1200 in one of the best sounding stereos i have ever heard the evl 15 is mounted on 3 4 inch birch plywood in the center rear well. No box. The area it sits in is about 2 cubic feet. It slams with any type of music it s just a knob turn away outstanding value excuse the mess still finishing the installation up.

Great subs got two of them on 200amp alt running rp2000. 1d and these boys turned some heads but after less than a week of play i sold them only because i wanted even louder so i gots two vxf 15d4s nevrloudenough

Well i m excited to show what s going into my build mini van mafia. It s a 2004 honda odyssey 2 evl 15s. D2 powered by 2 rp2000 8 to 65 2 vx4 st powered by the rp150 wired up with skar 0 gage wire kit. My box is a custom box made here in vegas 42 long 22 wide 54 high and will be bolted down. I m wondering if inverting the woofers at this point would make a difference at this point input would be great thanks here are some pictures i do have the 2 15s now running on 1 rp1500 but craving a harder hit from the woofers. Hey skar guys. I know you guys like reviews so here s a start. As i ve said in other post i decided to go all skar. Ol blue will have a total of 3 evl 15 s and 8 vvx3 8 s. With a mixture of of mids and highs all skar. Each set of 8 s will have a skv2 1500. That will be temporary. They will get a rp 3500 each when complete. The 3 evl 15 d2 will be on a wolfram 4500 until i can purchase a skar 4500. Already had the wolfram. Still working on putting it together. I have included some pics of ol blue. I m currently adding batteries in the bed and running wires for everything. And redesigning the 8 box. I have decided on a pyramid box for the 8 s. With a new kenwood front end. Still working on putting it together. I have to say if these evl perform like the 8 s there s no doubt it will sound great. Before it gets powered up i will have 1400 ah of batteries and 480 amps of alternator. Should be good for a daily driver. Then i can start the competition system in big red. Again all skar. If anyone is doubting skar it s your loss. They have great equipment at working man prices. You can t beat that if you work for your money like me. Thanks again to the skar team. I m running 4 15 evl s powered by 4 rp 2000. 1 ampifires. Nice low tight bass. Haven t had the opportunity to really turn them up yet. Still breaking them in i will post more pictures when buld is complete. Front stage consists or 2 8 pro audio mids 4 super tweeter 3. 5 inch super tweeter in each door powered by a rp150. 4 and a rp 75. 4. Rear fill consists of 4 6. 5 mids and 4 4 coaxial powered by a rp 75. 4 amp.

Everything was great my sticker did say skar audi though lol the o wasn t on the sticker but running 2 evl 15 s and i love them great product

Packaging is solid. . Subwoofer is even better and even during its break in period it sounds awesome. . Running with skar s rp1200. 1d and its a perfect match. . Keep it up skar. .

I use to have kicker l7s 15s. . They dont even compare to my new evl 15s. . I love these speakers.

I have 2 of these on the 2000. 1 with all around skar interior plus more and my hole shit flexes super bad in a good way. I will never change brands again

I have a 2016 silverado regular cab did what many people wouldn t attempt to do slapped an evl 15 right behind my seat goddam could only imagine what a bigger box would do. But do to space i couldn t. Sounds amazing no the surround does not rub wish i could slap another on my driver side but no room when i do a blow through i ll be putting 4 of these on god

Feels like someone has a jackhammer on my brain stem. Seriously though i ve only paired it with the skar audio ported enclosure that s tuned to 31 hz along with the rp 1200. 1 d amp and the evl eats every bit of it and begs for more. I know this because it wont go any louder and there is no distortion even close to compromising the earth shaking this beast does. Gotta get a bigger amp for sure now. . . And maybe a new battery. . . And cap. . . And alternator. Lol. Worth every single penny. I placed it inside the back of my z71 suburban. Nothing remotely special. Just a whole lotta shaking.

Had 2 p3 s that didn t last a month got my money back and got 2 of these saved money and they hit a hell of alot harder now i just need to get a bigger amp because they are monster s my t1500 pushes them by they deserve more
