Paired with my stackable 1600 watt kicker amp, two of these subs at half power outperform any subwoofer I’ve heard; I’m not exactly a pro with these, nor have I heard many, but it definitely is a great subwoofer for a starter or for someone looking to experiment. I have two of them under my backseat which, at half power, vibrate my rear view mirror out of place. I’m very satisfied and I will recommend these to anyone who asks me where to get subs.
I love these speakers they are good for entry level if you don’t want to spend too much money but still get good quality bass.
Installed in a 1.25cf sealed enclosure with 6in of acoustic fill on back panel of enclosure. Has a nice punchy and real responsive accurate sound. Wanted in for Rock and Country music This sub is replacing a Alpine Type S 12" 600 watt rms that was very muddy sounding the first thing I noticed with the Skar 49.99 sub was the tight crisp responsive sound that it had over the Alpine at 129.99. for the price the Skar won't be beat. Very Happy.
Sounds amazing for a $50 sub definitely one of the best low wattage entry level subs sounds alot like the JL w0’s
Bought a couple of these for my daughter's 2002 Mustang convertible since the ones that were in the car when we bought it were junk and blown. Used the box that was in the car which is too small for 12's really but it's there so I used it. Hooked them up to the RP-350 and they sound really good considering the box. Very pleased with them especially for the price.
